# IceWM Background Chooser

A lightweight GTK+ background and wallpaper chooser for IceWM built in Vala.

## Features
- Alphabetical sorting of wallpaper images.
- Drag-and-drop support: drag wallpapers directly to external file managers or image viewers.
- Right-click context menu to open selected images directly in GIMP.
- Custom wallpaper directory and click command options via command line.

## Usage
Launch from your application menu, or run from the terminal:

icewm-background [OPTION…]

### Options:
- -h, --help: Show help options
- -d, --directory=PATH: Specify custom wallpaper directory
- -c, --command=COMMAND: Specify executable command to run on click
- --display=DISPLAY: X display to use

## Building and Installing

### Prerequisites
- valac
- gtk+-3.0
- gdk-pixbuf-2.0
- build-essential / dpkg-dev (for building .deb packages)

### Commands
make          # Compile the application
make install  # Install binary and desktop file (requires root)
make deb      # Build a Debian (.deb) package
make source   # Create a source tarball release
make clean    # Remove build artifacts
